The Notebook Pt. 2..

The blog post below this one was mostly about the Welch girls.. Amanda's mother, Beverly, and her Fiance came along for some pictures as well, but they also wanted a few engagement pictures... Engagement pictures? Yes that's right. So of course when she introduced me to her "fiance" I KNEW there had to be an awesome story behind it. I'm going to give the short version hoping it may have the slightest impact on you all that it did on me.
At 16 they were each other's first kiss.
They were then engaged for a little while, only to be later split up due to family conflict.
They went their separate ways, both got married, both had kids, never really hearing from one another.
Last year when Hank, Amanda, and the girls moved to China she convinced her mom to get a Facebook to keep up with them..
Beverly's Fiance also had a Facebook thanks to his daughter (what would parents do without us techno savvy kids ;) ) and the FIRST person he searched for was Beverly..
He then wrote her a message, in which she later replied.
They reconnected and now they are to be married in April.

The way this couple told me was much more sentimental and precious but of course this is a blog and I am not the most creative writer.. But believe ME it was so sweet.

So excited for these two precious people! :)

So.. to say I was excited about this shoot would be an understatement.. These precious babies moved to China from Dalton almost two years ago? I took Emmy's 3 month shots RIGHT before they moved and she is now almost two! I can't believe its been almost that long since I saw them last.. Needless to say when I did see them I tackled Amanda practically! :)
This family is so dear to me and I was so glad I got the opportunity to see them and their beautiful babies!
I also had the pleasure of meeting Amanda's mother and her Fiance :) They have the SWEETEST story of their engagement and I will share that in another blog post along with some engagement pictures.. <3 Sweetest thing ever.

Love how they both made this face at some point during the shoot.. hehe!
